Based in Chester-le-Street, County Durham (UK) we are one of six Craft Lodges that meet from our purpose built Masonic Hall. We are just a few miles from Beamish Museum which features the only Masonic Hall in the country open to the public seven days a week. The facade of the hall was transported brick by brick from Sunderland and re-created on the Museum site.

WBro Malcolm Lynn – Worshipful Master
Our March 2026 meeting saw the installation of our newest Worshipful Master, Malcolm Lynn. The Lodge continues to go from strength to strength.
The Lodge is fortunate to have so many people wanting to join our vibrant lodge and become part of our family, said the new Worshipful Master. We continue to grow our numbers and have a goal to become the largest craft lodge within the Province. Our vision and strategy are defining our mission.

Our May 2026 Meeting – Friday 15th May.
Our May meeting will be a celebration of two of our members, WBro Brian Lister and Bro Charlie Parkin, achieving their 50th year in Freemasonry. The Assistant Provincial Grand Master, Bro Martin Rankin, PJGD will be formally visiting the lodge to present both with their 50th long service certificates.
Booking will be essential for this meeting.
